1) Does Metrin Have an Eye Cream?

Short answer: yes, we have several.

Why Do People Use Eye Creams?

The most common reasons to use an eye cream are:

  1. Diminishing signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines
  2. Reducing dark circles and/or puffiness under the eyes

As we age, the skin thins and collagen depletes. This makes the veins and vessels under your eyes more visible and wrinkles more pronounced.

Eye creams are designed to help stimulate collagen production and promote cellular regeneration.

Huh? Cellular regener- what?

What I mean is: they contain ingredients that your skin needs to fix damage and build healthy cells. (Does this sound familiar?)

What Distinguishes Eye Creams from Other Creams?

Generally, eye creams are:

  • Thick
  • Oil-based
  • Rich in vitamins and nutrients

(Do you see where I’m going with this now?)

Okay Great – So Does Metrin Have an Eye Cream?

Yes! Metrin’s Vita Conditioners are thick, sunflower oil-based, and packed with the nutrients your skin needs to repair and rebuild damaged cells.

They are also completely safe to use around your eyes.

If you suffer from dark circles or under eye puffiness, we recommend keeping your Vita Conditioner in the fridge and apply cold. Not only does it feel great, but will also bring down the swelling.

2) Is Metrin All Natural or Organic?

Short answer: sort of.

What Makes Skin Care Natural?

Let’s break this one down:

nat·u·ral: existing in or caused by nature; not made or caused by humankind.

If you asked the science community they would tell you that skincare products are not natural because they are human-made. Transforming an ingredient in any way (combining with another ingredient, applying heat, preserving, etc) changes its state from natural to unnatural.

By definition, skin care products could never be natural.

Alright – But What About Organic?

Now we’re getting somewhere.

Organic actually refers to the way agriculture is produced and processed to maximize nutritional value and minimize unwanted substances like pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.

There are two major bodies that certify and regulate the usage of the word organic on product labels. You may have heard of them: the USDA and the EU.

We use organic-certified (food-grade) aloe vera and sunflower oil in your Metrin Skincare products. Organic certified is the highest quality available and also the safest because we know exactly how it was harvested.

That’s All Great Info – Where Does Metrin Stand?

Metrin Skincare products:

  1. Can not be natural because they are human-made
  2. Contain certified organic ingredients

3) Is the System for All Skin Types?

Short answer: yes.

What are Skin Types?

  • Oily
  • Dry
  • Combination
  • And my favorite – “normal”

Do You Need Skin-Type-Specific Skin Care?

If you have oily skin, you need something to dry it out. And if you have dry skin, you need something to oil it up – right? Wrong.

The truth is that skin types were created up by marketers to make you feel badly about your skin and sell more products.

Skin conditions are a bit like icebergs, what you see at the surface is only a small portion of the problem; the majority of the problem is occurring much deeper in your skin.

We talk about skin types in more detail here: Finding the Balance: Dry or Oily Skin (or Both!?)

So is Metrin Suitable for All Skin Types?

Yes, because Metrin targets the underlying issues that caused your skin to become oily or dry in the first place.

All skin has a happy place where it is pH balanced, symptom-free, and functioning at its best. Some people experience this naturally but most need to supplement through a holistic skin care routine.

A good skin care routine should cleanse, nourish, and protect your skin to stop symptoms at their source so you never have to experience dry or oily skin.
